Coco Coir: A Versatile Addition to Gritty Mix

Coco Coir is an excellent supplement to Jack’s Gritty Mix for certain plants and growing conditions. With just one bag of Jack’s Gritty Mix and a brick of Coco Coir, you can re-pot virtually any plant. The ideal ratio will vary depending on the plant species and local climate.

Plants that benefit from added potting soil or Coco Coir include:

• Common houseplants

• Holiday cacti (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, Spring)

• Ponytail Palm

• Burro’s Tail

• Hoya

• Snake Plant

• Vining succulents (e.g., String of Pearls, String of Hearts)

General rule: If it looks like a houseplant, it likely needs either potting soil or a mix of Coco Coir and gritty mix.

Bonsai Jack Coco Coir
Conveniently packaged in bricks, each yields at least 1 gallon of hydrated product.

Instructions:

1. Saturate the brick with water until fully hydrated.

2. Remove from packaging.

3. Product will expand and break apart for easy use.
