The effectiveness of cut paste is judged by the amount of die-back created. Our product has demonstrated 10-70 percent less die-back than imported cut paste.
How? Bonsai Jack cut paste penetrates the wood with a paper thin shield to protect it from the elements and infection. It should be applied in a very thin layer and allowed to fully dry.
Applying this product in paper thin layers saves money with decreased use and allows it to blend better with the application site. It will virtually disappear(fade in) over time when a similar color is applied. Avoid over application. Thicker is not better.
We do not add insecticides to our product. Insecticides have proven to increase dieback in our tests. Our product is intended for one purpose, to seal grafts and cuts while limiting dieback.
Directions: Apply to fresh cut or wound in a thin layer to reduce die back and infection. Avoid over application. Less is more. Allow to dry. The color will change as the product dries.
Storage: Shelf life is guaranteed 5 years from date of purchase. Actual shelf life may exceed ten years or more if sealed properly while avoiding direct sunlight and high temperatures.
